As an Industrial Butcher you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on a production line in a slaughter and processing plant, including:

- Cutting up carcasses, half-carcasses, or quarters of beef, lamb, pork, or veal for further cutting, processing, or packaging
- Deboning meat.
- Verifying product compliance.
- Performing any other related tasks necessary for the smooth running of operation

 

Job requirements:

• Ability to work in a refrigerated department at a temperature of 4 to 7°C (40 to 45°F); sometimes
working in areas colder than 4 to 7°C.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb);
• Ability to work on the production line, standing for an eight (8) hour shift;
• Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive task;
• Be a team player, able to multitask and pay attention to detail.
