Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the corporate HSE audit program, including methodology, tools, and performance indicators.
  • Identify priority risks and define audit criteria for each category (machine safety, ergonomics, confined spaces, fire safety, chemicals, etc.).
  • Plan and conduct HSE audits across all Olymel facilities.
  • Assess compliance with laws, regulations, and internal standards, and recommend corrective action plans.
  • Train and support local teams in understanding and applying HSE requirements.
  • Report to corporate management and produce detailed reports with key indicators.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HSE processes and implementation of best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR, operations, and maintenance teams to integrate HSE into all activities.

Desired Profile:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in HSE, including 2 years in corporate program or audit management.
  • Knowledge: HSE legislation (CNESST, CSA standards, ISO 45001), audit methodologies, and tracking tools.
  • Skills: Leadership, influence, excellent communication and writing skills, rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills.
  • Assets: ISO 45001 internal auditor certification, experience in agri-food or manufacturing industry.
