The Role, Your Impact

Reporting to the National Account Director SYSCO and GPO the incumbent will be responsible for the following :

Support clients and grow new accounts by promoting and selling Olymel products under national brands and private labels
Develop strategic plans and execute key initiatives (food shows, marketing materials, innovation sessions, etc.)
Build and monitor business and sales plans, including volume, profitability, product opportunities and promotional targets
Oversee product and category performance
Maintain strong relationships with national procurement and regional stakeholders to align on strategic business priorities
Coordinate and launch new products (R&D, labeling, forecasting, etc.)
Negotiate agreements for national brands and private labels while considering company priorities and challenges
Manage allocated budgets
Conduct monthly/quarterly sales reviews and track customer performance with action plans to address gaps or drive growth
Analyze and communicate market data by product and category to identify opportunities (Direct Link, NPD/Crest, etc.)
Ensure commitments are met in collaboration with Finance, Logistics and Transport teams (volumes, discounts, commitments, promotions, etc.)       

 

Your Assets for This Position

  • Education : Bachelor of Business Administration or other relevant field
  • Experience: minimum of 5 years' experience in sales or administration of key accounts. Experience in foodservice and/or non-commercial sector is an asset
  • Skills:
    Strong communication and organizational skills with a high sense of initiative
    Excellent analytical and financial abilities enabling quick, informed decisions
    Ability to perform effectively under pressure
    Dynamic, collaborative and team‑oriented
    Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain business relationships
    Available to travel across Canada (up to 40% during peak food show season)
